Lutheran Women of Australia (LWA)
‘Women loved by God sharing this love with others’
Lutheran Women of Australia is an association of Lutheran women who aim to encourage a deeper consecration and a greater service to Christ and his church (in particular through the study of the Scriptures); to coordinate and give impetus to the work of the women of the Church; and to foster the bond of Christian fellowship among the women of the Church.
Lutheran Women (a bi-monthly magazine particularly for women) offers articles on living the faith, devotions, Bible study material, and news of women's organisations and events in the LCA.

More than 270 women who are passionate about their faith and sharing it with others met for two days under the theme: ‘Teach Me Your Way’ Ps 86:11
Highlights:
- Worship services and devotions
- The inspirational theme song composed by Sue Westhorpe
- The theme Banner designed by Carey Isaacson and made by Beryl Matthews, Lorna Schultz and Sylvie Nagorcka
- Bible Study each day led by Jodie Brook mother and youth and family ministry facilitator
- Dr Christian and Sarah-Joy Fandrich who visited with their four children spoke of their journey to becoming teachers of the Gospel
- Peter Eckermann of Faith Inkubators shared his passion for nurturing faith in young people
- Faith in action in support of mission projects in Australia and overseas to the tune of more than $270 000
- Overseas visitors including Yvonne Quirk, author and wife of the Chair, ELC England, a much loved group from ELC-PNG, special indigenous guests from Alice Springs and a local Sudanese group
- An evening of relaxed dining and entertainment
